Porto Food & Wine Tasting Tour with Lunch or Dinner Option

/ August 12, 2026

1.Porto Food & Wine Tasting Tour with Lunch or Dinner Option

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 2,303 reviews · 3 to 4 hours (approx.) · from $83Our pick

Taste Porto classics on a small-group walk, from Bolhão Market bites to bifana and codfish cakes, ending with port wine and an optional full meal.

“Our tour guide Igor was really knowledgeable and everything was great! Our tour was a really small group and it was better than what we hoped for. Only thing we wished we did different was to do an earlier tour so we got a chance to see the market a little more or get a chance to explore the market a little more during the tour. Aside from that, it was great. Igor brought us to a few different shops and told us many stories! I liked the fact that they had partnered with local businesses with strong ties to the community 🙂”

Lisbon small-group Portuguese cooking class: hands-on four-course meal, Portuguese wines with tasting, and dinner with coffee or tea. English.

“Although the chef was great and it was a fun atmosphere, we felt the menu needed improvement as many of our dishes were mediocre at best. The class was large at 18 and it took over 2 hours to prepare our meals. I think a smaller group, with fewer dishes would be better.”

“A great experience that just got better and better as the evening went on. Our guide (Daniela) was informative, entertaining and very knowledgeable. The fado was exceptional… sadly I didn’t catch the singer’s name but both her and the guitarists were very talented. To be sipping delicious port, in the caves of the lodge whilst listening to it was a true privilege - we even had a lightning show outside the window to add to the experience! I was then taken to the restaurant for what I can only describe as a perfect meal. Three courses of excellent quality, delicious wine pairing and a great setting. A five star evening…”

A 4WD sunset jeep safari from Albufeira with village stops, a river swim, and dinner in Alte, small-group and pickup included.

“The only point to improve first: Please write somewhere in the description, that the tour needs jackets after sunsets as it gets very cold with the wind. Other than that, our guide was absolutly one of the best i have ever had on such safari tours. He has brought us to some amazing views and showed us a lot of useful informations about the algarve and it's history. I also defenitley recommend to book the tour with the dinner afterwards. The dinner is amazing for the price you pay for the whole tour. Thanks for an incredible expirience.”

The Fado show (3 sets with different singers) was was very interesting and entertaining. The dinner was quite good after we figured out how we could order. The food was all quite tasty. The wine was okay.”
