“I’m traveling with my twenty something daughters and we LOVED this tour. Fred, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, funny and efficient!! We had one of the most memorable travel evenings ever because of Fred. We enjoyed the tasty food and drinks and learned much about Portuguese cuisine and dining out in Portugal. Fred also shared additional restaurant and bar recommendations which we enjoyed on subsequent evenings. Fred’s fun personality, knowledge of the city and Portuguese food, and his relationships with restaurant owners, provided a fantastic evening enjoyed by our entire tour group!!”

Porto’s Cálem Cellar Tour pairs an interactive museum with a guided cellar walk and a Port tasting, for an easy 1 hour hit.

“Beautiful building on the Duoro River, really modern and clean as you go into the building, the staff are friendly and really helpful! We had to change our tour time and the reception staff were more than happy to help. The museum is a great way to start the tour at your own leisure and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. It was fun going inside the actual distillery and I learnt a lot!”

Taste Porto classics on a small-group walk, from Bolhão Market bites to bifana and codfish cakes, ending with port wine and an optional full meal.

“Our tour guide Igor was really knowledgeable and everything was great! Our tour was a really small group and it was better than what we hoped for. Only thing we wished we did different was to do an earlier tour so we got a chance to see the market a little more or get a chance to explore the market a little more during the tour. Aside from that, it was great. Igor brought us to a few different shops and told us many stories! I liked the fact that they had partnered with local businesses with strong ties to the community 🙂”

Taste your way through central Lisbon with a small-group walk, nine bites, wine and ginjinha, plus history at classic shops.

“The food tour was fantastic. The meeting point was easy to find and our guide Nina was excellent. Nina spoke great English at an easy to understand pace. There were about 8 in the group so just nice. We met at 10 went to first try bifana which was pork stew stewed overnight and on a bread roll. Amazing taste. Along our 3 hour walk we tried cured ham like iberico, cherry liqueur, pastries and finished with the traditional warm fresh custard tart from a shop that only sells those. I am sure there were more but too many to remember but all very good and a great variety. There…”
